The assisted setup helps you configure Ventoo Document Merger for first use. It enables the feature for the document types you need and creates a set of default global rules as a starting point.
Run the assisted setup
-
Choose the Search icon (Alt+Q), enter Doc. Merge Setup, and then choose the related link.
-
On the Doc. Merge Setup page, choose the Create Default Configuration action.
The setup wizard performs the following steps:
-
Enables the document types you selected (sales, purchase, reminders).
-
Creates default global rules for each enabled document type.
Note The setup record and report reference templates are already created automatically during installation by the Install Codeunit. The Create Default Configuration action focuses on creating global rules based on the currently active features.
Default rules created
For each enabled document type, the wizard creates two default global rules:
|
Sequence |

Description |
Filter |
|---|---|---|---|
|
2 |

Note Sequence 1 is always reserved for the main report (for example, the Sales Invoice report) and is created automatically by the system. You cannot modify or delete the main report entry.
