A task is a to-do that can be bound to a case, engagement, scope, or party. Tasks appear as a subpage or factbox on the cards and in the role center.

Managing tasks

Create – On the case/engagement card via the tasks subpage, or in the standalone Task List.

Assign – Via Assign to Me / Unassign or multi-select; assignment is to parties.

Due date and priority – The due date is the first column with color highlighting (overdue is marked).

Complete – Via the Completed field; time and user are recorded.
Checklists
You can keep a checklist on a task (Task Checklist): a list of individual items that are ticked off. The Open Checklist Items field shows the number of open items directly on the task. Standard checklists can be prepared via configuration.
Tasks in the role center
The role center shows tasks in several cues: unassigned, overdue, due today, and this week, each filtered by party. The My Tasks part lists your own tasks with highlighting of overdue entries and assignment actions. See Role center and reports.
Open and overdue tasks per assignee are additionally evaluated by the Task Report.
